About me
The Journey to the Lens
My path to photography has been a journey across the map and the digital landscape. Originally born in San Diego and raised in the Pacific Northwest, I eventually headed south to the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). There, I immersed myself in the world of Visual Effects, a discipline that taught me the importance of every single pixel and the technical rigor required to bring a vision to life.
After spending two years navigating the fast-paced environment of Boston, I’ve found a new home and a fresh perspective in Western Michigan. This cross-country background—from the evergreen forests of Washington to the historic streets of the East Coast—has shaped an eye that looks for the unique character in every setting.
A Technical Edge with a Personal Touch
Photography is where my love for storytelling meets a high-level focus on logistics and detail. With a professional background in production coordination and project management, I approach every shoot with a plan. Whether I’m capturing the nervous excitement of a graduation, the quiet connection of an engagement, or the symmetry of a landscape from above, my goal is to make the process seamless so the results feel effortless.
From the Ground to the Clouds
I believe that a change in vantage point changes everything. I am currently pursuing my Private Pilot License, a pursuit that has completely redefined how I view the world. This passion for flight allows me to offer professional aerial imagery that goes beyond the standard, bringing a literal “bird’s eye view” to my clients in West Michigan.
When I’m not behind a camera or in the cockpit, you can usually find me deep-diving into technical projects, exploring the world of dark fantasy writing, or spending time with my cat.
